The MAX8814EVKIT+ is an 8-layer board with a wide range of features and functions designed to evaluate the capabilities of the MAX8814.
The MAX8814EVKIT+ contains a boost converter, output converter, and a 7 to 28V harvesting voltage range, making it ideal for testing energy conversion from sources such as solar cells and piezoelectric sensors. The 5 to 12V boost converter uses three 12V supercapacitors to store energy, which can then be used to power a load. The board also includes a 0.1 Ω sense resistor, allowing for accurate current measurements. Additionally, a 120 Ω current-limit resistor is included in the design to provide fast and smooth current declaration.
