The MAX8934AEVKIT+ is a prime exampleof an Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit. It is designed to evaluatethe MAX8934A step-down DC/DC converter. This board was designed to provideswitching mode power converter designers with a versatile, high-performancetool to evaluate, test, and debug new power designs. As with most developmentboards, this one comes with specialized features including the following:
- Versatility: This board is equipped with a user adjustable switching frequency (100kHz to 1.2MHz) and a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V. It also has an optional parallel operating capability, operating up to a combined peak current of 6.5A.
- High precision: With the integrated overcurrent protection and phase-lock loop (PLL) control, the board has a wide frequency range with better accuracy and faster transient response times. The operating parameters can be programmed according to the application’s requirements.
- Easy interface: The board is ready-to-use with a straightforward user interface.
