MAX9250GCM+T is a low-power, high-speed, 3.3V-tolerant, Fixed Gain-amplifier Link (FAL) Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) that supports high-speed serial communication between FPGAs, ASICs and other serial/parallel video imaging devices. It provides excellent signal quality in noisy environments, and has dynamic range greater than traditional FAL solutions. It also has a robust 3.3V tolerant serial bus and integral LVDS transceiver.
The MAX9250GCM+T provides a low-power, small-footprint solution for FAL Serializer/Deserializer applications, with a maximum power consumption of only 2.5mW per differential data pair. The AC-coupled SerDes supports standard FAL links (including Ethernet, InfiniBand, XAUI and Fibre Channel) up to 8.5Gbps, with programming of both the serializer and deserializer for data rate, reference clock rate and input format selection. The MAX9250GCM+T also enables fully-transparent, multi-level coding and framing, as well as parallel data bus buffering and signal quality monitoring.
