The MAX9280AGTN+ is an integrated 10 to 16-bit parallel-input serializer and deserializer (SerDes) with an integrated linear driver and transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX), providing a low-cost, low-power and high-performance connectivity solution for digital displays and touchscreens. The MAX9280AGTN+ is available in a 36-pin, lead-free, RoHS-compliant, quad flatno-lead (QFN) package measuring only 5mm x 5mm in size.The MAX9280AGTN+ is ideal for applications requiring high bandwidth, low power consumption and low latency, such as high-definition (HD) displays, automotive displays and large-format industrial monitors. The device features an optimized transmit and receive architecture, allowing a single 5V supply to power the chip. The MAX9280AGTN+ can accommodate a wide range of resolutions—from VGA to WUXGA or half- and full-HD. The integrated signal-conditioning circuitry ensures reliable video transmission, while the low noise and power consumption ensures an excellent user experience.The MAX9280AGTN+ utilizes a dual-port serial interface, which can be configured as single or dual-lane in ascending order. The 10- to 16-bit ADC front end provides a wide input dynamic range and supports various pixel-depth formats.
