The MAX9729ETI+T is an audio power amplifier system-in-package combining a stereo Class D power amp with a 2-ch Class G power amp designed to provide a high-quality audio experience in small-form-factor portable devices. It is a highly integrated, low-EMI solution featuring low power consumption with a compact footprint, making it ideal for small audio applications such as multi-purpose digital media players, portable MP3 players and portable digital audio players.

The MAX9729ETI+T is a two-channel audio amplifier system with a single-ended Class D stereo output and a bridged Class G output. The Class D stereo output is designed for low-power applications and provides up to 2W of output power with a wide range of inputs from 2.0V up to 3.2V. The Class G output is designed to provide more headroom in applications requiring higher output power, up to 6W with a supply voltage of 4.2V. The device is capable of driving two 8Ω loads simultaneously, with less than 0.3% THD+N.

The MAX9729ETI+T features a unique adaptive multi-band sound equalizer that dynamically tunes the audio system to provide optimal sound reproduction based on the source content. The equalizer automatically switches between stereo mode when playing stereo content and mono mode when playing mono content, while maintaining a consistent output power level.

In addition to its advanced audio capabilities, the MAX9729ETI+T offers low EMI improved efficiency and provides a boost converter for supply noise rejection, adjustable feedback/gain control for audio optimization, and a 3-pole filter for system noise reduction.

The MAX9729ETI+T is designed for use in a wide range of portable audio applications such as portable digital media players, home stereos and amplifiers, car audio systems, professional audio systems, and cell phone accessories. It is ideal for audio engineers and system designers looking for a low-power, low-EMI solution for their audio applications.
