The MC100EP40DT is a programmable clock generator and highly configurable PLL frequency synthesizer. It is capable of producing frequencies up to a frequency of 100 MHZ and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, making it highly suitable for embedded applications. The MC100EP40DT includes a highly-integrated digitally controlled resistor (DCR) module which can achieve fine resolution control of frequencies, utilize a low-power type-C bias current, and provide best-in-class PLL stability. Its broad tuning range and configurable loop filter blocks make it highly suitable for a variety of clock application needs.
MC100EP40DT are used in a wide range of clock application fields, particularly in communications, computing and advanced power management applications. The MC100EP40DT has four different working principles:
