MCP1501-20E/SN is a Low-Power Voltage Reference device from Microchip that provides very accurate reference voltages for precision applications. It is a monolithic voltage reference device that offers a broad range of operating temperature spans and high accuracy, along with low power dissipation. The device is designed for use in microprocessor systems, embedded systems, automotive and other Controller Area Network (CAN) systems, motor control applications, and any application needing precise and reliable reference voltages.The MCP1501-20E/SN consists of a voltage reference featuring a 8-pin TO-92 package. The device also includes an internal bandgap reference and two fractional order error amplifiers. The device provides an output current of up to 15 mA and an output voltage range of 1.20-1.25 volts. The temperature coefficient of the output voltage is 500 ppm/°C. The device is able to dissipate at least 50 mW even at full load conditions, allowing the device to maintain stability and accuracy over a wide temperature range.The MCP1501-20E/SN has input and output pins that accept either a single reference voltage or a dual reference voltage. The input voltage range is 3.3V to 6V and the output voltage range is +/-0.25 V. The device can also be used in combination with a voltage reference diode to increase the accuracy of the system.
