The MCP1630RD-LIC2 is a high-performance, low-cost Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit that allows users to conveniently evaluate and demonstrate the performance of its core technologies.

The MCP1630RD-LIC2 Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit is a fully-featured, standalone Evaluation and Demonstration board. It is powered by the MCP1630RD-LIC2 system on chip, includes four advanced power management integrated circuits (PMICs), and provides a full range of features and capabilities typically found in industrial-level Evaluation and Demonstration boards. The MCP1630RD-LIC2 Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit provides an all-in-one solution for Energy On-Demand, Advanced Power Management, Integrated Voltage and Current Measurement, and Thermal Stability.

The MCP1630RD-LIC2 Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit features two analog input channels as well as a number of digital I/O connections. It also includes a 10V to 40V input voltage range and programmable outputs, enabling on-demand energy delivery and advanced power management for applications requiring a wide range of input power. Additionally, the board includes an integrated voltage and current measurement system, making it ideal for evaluating and demonstrating power management applications.

The MCP1630RD-LIC2 Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit also includes a thermal stability module, which helps to reduce sensor drift and improve accuracy. The module utilizes four thermal probes and two thermal sinks, allowing for accurate temperature readings and improved thermal management. Additionally, the board includes numerous integrated features such as analog trim settings, adjustable output voltage, over-voltage and over-current protection, and programmable power levels.
