The board uses an advanced dual-phase digital-controlled, synchronous buck switching regulator with a high-efficiency, low-RDS (on) switch, and is targeted for applications within the computing and/or peripheral markets which have traditionally relied on linear regulator-based designs.</p><p>The advanced power management features of the MCP1630RD-NMC1 make it a particularly attractive solution for small-form-factor, low-power, space-constrained consumer applications such as media players, gaming systems, video/communication devices, and more. It also offers flexibility in its design, making it suitable for use in other markets such as automotive, industrial, and medical.</p><p>This evaluation and demonstration board features a 6V-12V input voltage range, a 40-65V output voltage range, and up to 1.5A peak current rating.
