The MCP16321T-ADJE/NG is a high-performance, high current step-down dc-to-dc switching regulator. It is a member of the MCP16321T family which is able to drive up to 5A output currents depending on the application. Its features include adjustable output voltage level, advanced power MOSFET, pulse-width modulation (PWM), and current-mode control for fast dynamic response, excellent line and load transient response, fast PWM current-mode loop compensation, and internal soft start for system start-up.
The MCP16321T-ADJE/NG provides a wide range of input voltage from 4.75V to 20V. It offers differential remote sense feature that corrects the voltage drop. This makes it ideal for power supplies operating from a wide range of input voltages. The device also has an integrated output voltage regulator capable of providing tight output voltage regulation accuracy with no additional external components.
