The major components of MDL-V-1/10-R Fuses are an arcing contact, a metal casing, and a spring element. The metal casing is made of titanium, which serves as the supporting and heat resisting material for the fuse. The arcing contacts are made of silver-tin alloy or copper-nickel alloy. The spring elements are made from phosphor bronze. MDL-V-1/10-R Fuses also feature over-current protection. When the current is higher than the set value, the temperature of the conductor between the arcing contacts will exceed a safe level, and the fuse will then start to melt.
