D-Sub Cables
The MDM-9PH003P-A141 is a D-Sub cable furnished with a 26-pin, straight, male IEC 603-2 connector and is built in accordance with the MDM-IEC-9PH003-A141 standard. Owing to the genderless IEC 603-2 pin that it employs, this type of cable is widely used for connecting components, peripherals, and circuitry in electronic systems and devices. It is also employed for connecting a variety of machines and portable devices to a peripheral such as a power supply.
The cable consists of an industry standard DB-25 connector and features a twisted pair, aluminum-foil-shielded, and molded polyvinylchloride PVC construction. It is available in various lengths ranging from 3.0 feet (1 meter) up to 15 feet (4.5 meters). When measuring the cable length, one must add the two ends together to get the total length of the cable. The connector is made of nickel-plated steel and is resistant to corrosion.
The MDM-9PH003P-A141 is designed to be used with digital audio and video applications, computer systems, automotive applications, and consumer electronics. It is an ideal choice for applications such as connecting MP3 players, digital cameras, computers, automotive systems, digital displays, and other electronic systems.
Working Principle
The MDM-9PH003P-A141 works by transmitting electrical signals over a twisted pair of copper wires, typically in a code such as binary or hexadecimal. The copper wires are shielded from external electromagnetic interference by a thin layer of aluminum foil. The data signals sent over the cable can be in either analog or digital form. In analog transmission, the signal voltage will vary with the signal’s frequency and the cable used must be able to carry a frequency of up to 200 MHz. In digital transmission, the voltage levels will remain constant and the digital signals can be transmitted over much wider distances than analog signals. The connectors used are not affected by temperature, humidity, or movement between the different components, making this type of cable ideal for a wide range of applications.
Application Field
The MDM-9PH003P-A141 cable is widely used in a variety of applications. It is often employed in computers, MP3 players, automotive systems, digital displays, internet networks, digital cameras, and other electronic devices. It is commonly used to connect a peripheral device to a computer, such as a modem, printer, scanner, or external hard drive. It is also widely used in audio and video systems for transmitting audio and video signals over long distances. Furthermore, it is employed in automotive systems for connecting the various sensors, actuators, and ECU units found in today’s cars.
