PTC (positive temperature coefficient) resettable fuses, are a class of circuit protection devices which act to protect electronic components and wires from damaging overcurrents. The MF-NSML200-2 is a resettable fuse that is designed with a special thermal compound and low-profile construction which allows for a much more efficient handling of current than other fuses or circuit protection devices. The device has been designed to protect sensitive low-voltage applications, such as in the automotive, medical, and consumer electronics industries.

The device works by reacting to an overcurrent event by gradually increasing its resistance enough to trip a circuit breaker.
