Working Principle

The MI-25W-MW-F1 DC-DC converter is a switching regulator designed to provide a reliable and efficient solution for the input voltage conversion from 9V to 72V. The converter consists of an input rectifier bridge, high frequency transformer, derived inductor, output filter capacitor, error amplifier and an oscillator to control the frequency of switching.

When the input voltage is applied, the output voltage is regulated as the error amplifier receives feedback from the output and the power switching is enabled to turn on and off according to the reference oscillator. During ‘on’ state, the input is rectified by the bridge rectifier and then transferred to the core of the transformer.
