The MI-26M-MY-S is a step-up DC-DC converter specifically designed to provide higher voltage output from a useable source. It has a maximum power conversion efficiency of up to 95%, a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, excellent thermal performance, and a robust design which allows for long-term reliable operation.The working principle of the MI-26M-MY-S is based on the buck-boost converter topology. This is a topology in which an inductor is used to store energy during the buck (or step down) phase and then released during the boost (or step up) phase. The device operates with a fixed switching frequency of 350 KHz, with a maximum inductor peak current of 1.3 A, and output voltage of up to 24 V. The output voltage can be adjustable using a resistive divider connected to the device’s FB pin.The MI-26M-MY-S includes a built-in current mode control circuitry to ensure good line and load regulation as well as protection features such as under-voltage lockout, over-voltage protection, and thermal shutdown for safety and system reliability. It also has additional features, including input and output over-current protection, output short-circuit protection, output reverse current protection, and input reverse current protection.The MI-26M-MY-S is a versatile DC-DC converter with high performance and efficiency, making it suitable for a variety of applications. With the built-in protection features and excellent thermal performance, it is an ideal solution for any application requiring higher voltage conversion.
