The MIC2206-83YML-TR is a step-down, high-current, switch-mode voltage regulator. As a pulse-width modulated (PWM) regulator, it converts an input voltage from a range of 3.5V to 17V down to a fixed output voltage at up to 6A of continuous output current. The device incorporates a high-side and a low-side integrated power MOSFET that have low on-state resistance, eliminating the need for external power MOSFETs.
