Working Principle of MINISMDC150F-2

At normal working condition, MINISMDC150F-2 keeps the electrical current flow to the device. When the current over the nominal current or fuse’s maximum rating, the PTC Resettable Fuse element will begin to increase its internal resistance. This will interrupt the device’s current flow then the device will become isolated, current will stop to pass through it.The internal temperature of the fuse would be increase in size. As the temperature of the PTC Resettable Fuse element increases, its electrical resistance increase. This will cause the current pass through the device become zero when the element temperature reaches 100℃. When the element cools down, it will reset allowing current to pass through the device.
