Film capacitors refer to capacitors made of plastic film as the dielectric and metal foils as electrodes, which are divided into two categories: polyester film capacitors and polypropylene film capacitors. They are widely used in electric inverters, noise removal, power factor compensation, wave and spike filters and other fields.MKT1817268254G is a polyester film capacitor, its body structure is cylindrical, there are lead terminal ends, composed of MnO2 coating insulated copper foil electrode, polyethylene terephthalate film dielectric and PVC resin. The main function is to filter, wave absorption, noise reduction, and prevent current interrupting.When MKT1817268254G is connected to a direct current circuit, a small electric current proportional to the voltage will flow through the capacitor, and electric charges with the same polarity will be stored on the two electrodes of the capacitor. This process is called "charging" the capacitor. When the circuit is disconnected, the capacitor will slowly release the previously accumulated charge.Under alternating current situations, current charges with alternating polarities pass through the capacitor, resulting in constant charges with the same polarity accumulating on both sides of the capacitor. When the current changes, the voltage on both sides of the capacitor also changes. Therefore, when the AC current passes through the capacitor, the total current is the sum of the instantaneous current and the current in the opposite direction.
