MOI-AL202C-XR3SE application field and working principle
MOI-AL202C-XR3SE belongs to Display Modules product type. It is one of the latest monochrome LCD product line developed by YDJDisplays, which combines both LCD and OLED character and numeric display technology.
Application
This module is predominantly used in various industrial and consumer applications for visual display and debugging of information. It is widely used in medical technology, POS systems, office automation and home appliances, etc.
Package
MOI-AL202C-XR3SE comes in four types of packages. They are DIP form, surface-mounted package, curved form, and integrated package. The packages fitting the needs in different applications, making it easier to use.
Characteristics
The MOI-AL202C-XR3SE features a low power dissipation, low current consumption, wide operating temperature range, long shelf life and long-term reliability. Besides that, this module can also be configured with a backlight option to make it visible in low light environment.
Working Principle
MOI-AL202C-XR3SE utilizes liquid crystal display and organic light emitting diode display technology. In the LCD technology a voltage difference is created across the liquid crystals and these crystals then move from being optically \'transparent\' to \'opaque\'. This creates an image which is then visible on the display. In OLED technology, organic light emitting diodes are used for creating images where electric current is directly injected into the organic layer to create light. This also helps in reducing the overall power consumption when compared to the backlight LCDs.
