Through Hole Resistors
The MOX-4N-131505FE resistors are designed for through-hole holes applications. The resistive element is ceramic and mounted in a standard plastic case. The resistive element is made of a conducting paste and a special ceramic or plastic material. The two elements are joined by a brazed joint on the non-conductive substrate.
The resistors are designed with a resistance value of approximately 4.2 ohms and the power rating is 4 watts at 70 degrees Celsius. The device can operate at temperatures ranging from -55 degree Celsius to 150 degrees Celsius and total resistance value is no more than 15 ohms. The resistor also provides excellent electrical insulation stability over an extended temperature range.
The resistance element is designed with a precision resistance value the consistency of which is maintained throughout the life of the device. The resistor has a built-in load-locking feature and uses a double-sided self-adhesive adhesive system ensuring stable electrical connection of the connections. The device is designed to be compatible with lead-free solder and is compatible with lead-free boards. The resistive element is treated using a special formulated lacquer for complete environmental protection.
The working principle of the MOX-4N-131505FE resistors is based on the electrical resistance of carbon particles being placed between two or more conductive plates. When the current flows through the device, the high resistive material will resist the flow of current and generate heat. The generated heat is proportional to the amount of current flowing through the device.
MOX-4N-131505FE resistors are often used in applications that require high reliability such as automotive engines, electric vehicles, robotics, medical equipment and industrial measurements. These are also used in highly sensitive circuits as the resistance element is highly stable and accurate. The device is also used in high-power switching applications as it can withstand very high power levels without any degradation. The resistors are also used in telecommunications systems for signal transmission.
These resistors are mainly used in industrial and commercial applications where stability and reliability is more important than cost. The resistors are also used in medical devices as it provides good accuracy and reliability when used in sensitive applications. The device also has excellent insulation properties and can tolerate a wide range of temperature variations.
