The MP2102DQ-LF-Z is a step-down DC-to-DC switching regulator, which is ideal for high efficiency step-down conversions from an input voltage of 5V to 3.3V, 5V, or adjustable outputs in portable applications. It provides a maximum output current of 1A from a wide input voltage range of 4V to 30V. The MP2102 operates at fixed frequencies at 375KHz, 600KHz, 1MHz, or 1.5MHz, adjustable by an external resistor, as well as utilizing synchronous rectification for improved efficiency.The MP2102DQ-LF-Z has an integrated high-side power MOSFET, which provides a load switching FET and eliminates the need for an external high-side FET, reducing overall system cost and PCB size. It also provides a soft-start with limiting in-rush current to minimize stress on the input voltage source, as well as a selectable power good output that asserts when the output has reached 95% of its programmed voltage.
