MPC5HD is a high-performance, waterproof indicator used in panel and distribution board applications. Industrial grade, encapsulated design prevents waters, dust, or insect intrusion, providing IP67-level environmental protection to ensure that electric devices are working in reliable, safe conditions. A series of light indicators with bright colors, including red, yellow, green, or white, enable users to quickly identify what type of equipment or process is running at any given time. It can easily recognize clear power-on statuses or machine conditions such as “Alarm”, “Failure”, “Warning”, “All OK”, etc.

Working Principle of MPC5HD

MPC5HD panels indicators are designed with adjustable voltage setting to meet requirements of various machines. It provides DC 24V to 86V input voltages, and up to 15W of load power. Its LED lighting utilizes ultra-low energy consumption, with power ratings as low as 1W. The negative pole of LED is connected to ground, while the positive pole is connected with a switch, transistor and an embedded control module. Switches can be utilized to allow sensors to control the status of the indicator, and the work of the module involves condition detection and electronic controlling. Once the voltage increases or decreases in the range of preset parameters, the indicator will display a unique change in color.

Application Field of MPC5HD

MPC5HD panel indicators are applicable in harsh, very dusty and hot environments, and can be widely used in a wide variety of machines and applications. It is applicable in heavy machinery, like excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, mining equipment, agricultural machinery, construction engineering, and more. It is also used in distribution boards, control systems, and measuring instruments. With long-term service life in case of above ambient temperature, it will show no damage, even at 50°C. Moreover, it is applicable in various air circulation and humidity conditions, and can be used for outdoor, indoor, and dusty/humid indoor applications.

User-friendliness of MPC5HD is another key feature that boosts its application field. It can be mounted in switchboards and control panels easily, requiring no additional fixtures or wires. Multiple light indicators and multiple colors allow machine operators to identity operating conditions or malfunctions with ease. Everything is programmable for users to customize alarm thresholds.
