Application field

This product is mainly used in the internal wiring of optical communication networks, such as FTTX, compact installations, FTTH, and its typical applications are applicable to aerial and underground fiber to the home projects (FTTH). Suitable for outside plant (OSP) ducts, aerial self-supporting or other infrastructure.

With high security, MS46WS-KT-955 is also suitable to be applied in the industrial control system, high-speed Ethernet, military communications and other harsh industrial control environments. This product is configured with mechanical splice, fusion splice and connectorized pigtail splice in order to provide field installation for fiber with one hand.

Working principle

MS46WS-KT-955 contains multiple fiber management trays, fusion splice trays, mechanical splice holders and cable adapters to maintain good cable performance during the whole fiber junction progress. Each tray could be freely rotated in accordance with the actual connection status, making it very easy for a one-time operations with one hand, and also ensure the completion of the fiber installation without any disconnection.

Built-in dedicated cables transfer ports can be used to suspend fiber optical cable, ensure the safe storage of fiber wiring and reduce the tension of fibers. At the same time, it ensures good sealing and waterproof performance. Besides that, MS46WS-KT-955 is designed with stainless steel clamps and nylon tie wraps that provide long and reliable connections.

MS46WS-KT-955 also supports various types of mechanically connected fibers, such as fusion splicing of singlemode or multimode fibers, single-turn splicing, two-core electrical splicing and connectorized pigtail splicing. Moreover, multiple types of mechanical connectors can be used to achieve fast and reliable connections.
