The MST4111C, from the Ultra Bright CharLED series, is a versatile, single-digit, seven-segment semi-standard character display. Developed for applications that require high-intensity readouts and long life in extreme operating conditions, this high-performance display provides excellent visibility in day and night configurations, making it ideal for outdoor applications. The MST4111C is designed for multiple LED colors, colors can range from red to green, yellow, blue and infrared. The LED code is multiplexed, driven by dynamic logic, and is the most efficient study to drive and control LED. The multiplexing technique enables a higher resolution and extended contrast ration, resulting in a better display quality. Simultaneously, multiplexing can help to significantly reduce the amount of power consumed.

The MST4111C has the option of dot-mode and the various multiple characters. This particular display is based on the CMOS technology incorporated in the advanced circuit and this helps to enhance clarity and stability. The chip package is hermetic and enables middling-temperature and high-voltage operation while providing excellent stability.
