Working Principle

MTSW-121-11-L-D-100 rectangular connectors – headers, male pins – utilize a standard male header and pin configuration to create a secure connection. The mating of the header and pin utilizes a locking tab which ensures that once assembled, the pins and header will stay mated. Additionally, the connectors have an additional feature which prevent incorrect insertion. The locking header and pins both have a built-in tactile stile which will not allow for incorrect insertion. If the user attempts to mate the header and pins incorrectly, the tactile stile will prevent the pins from being inserted. The tactile stiles can also be used to ensure security of the connections.

Once the female header and pins are mated, the user can rest assure that both the pins and header will remain securely mated. The electrical connection is excellent and is tested to have a working voltage of 75Vac and operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.
