Power Line Filter Modules
The NAC-06-472-DXE is an industrial grade line filter module designed for filtering EMI/RFI interference from power lines. It is a durable product with an operating temperature range of -25 to +85°C. The module filters incoming power sources from very low frequencies up to 10 kHz and is suitable for applications in a variety of industries, including automotive, railway, aerospace, medical, industrial and consumer electronics.The NAC-06-472-DXE is composed of two parts: the main filter element and a holding tank, which can be made of metal or plastic. The filter element consists of two sets of windings, each arranged in a series configuration. The input side of the filter element is connected to a low-impedance electrode; the output side is connected to a high-impedance electrode. The filter element is capable of suppressing radiated noise in addition to conduction noise from the power line.The NAC-06-472-DXE uses advanced EMI reduction technology to reduce noise and unwanted interference. Its dual capacitive bypass filters ensure consistent performance up to a frequency of 1 MHz. The number of cells used for the bypass filter can be customized according to application needs. Moreover, it also has an in-built surge protection capability up to 200VAC/50VDC. The NAC-06-472-DXE is designed with a highly efficient ferrite core that is wound with premium grade copper wire. This combination provides a superior filtering effect for conduction noise while maintaining a low insertion loss. The filter module is also designed to be highly resistant to mechanical and thermal loads, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. The NAC-06-472-DXE operates on RC or RL coupled circuit, depending on the application. In RC coupling, the filter is used to reduce noise on the power line and currents flowing through the power line. On the other hand, RL coupling is used to reduce radiated noise from high-frequency devices, such as switching power supplies and AC motors. In addition to its superior EMI reduction capabilities, the NAC-06-472-DXE also offers superior safety protection. The module has built-in over-voltage protection, over-current protection, as well as surge and transient protection features that can help protect connected equipment from damage due to power disturbances.
