Power Line Filter Modules
Power Line Filter Modules (PLFMs) are a form of electrical power filter components which are used to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) flowing onto the power lines that connect to an electrical device. PLFM Parts are commonly used in television sets, computers, mobile phones, and other electrical devices that require power. Power line-filter modules are used to filter the unwanted noise and other signals generated by other electrical devices, keeping the power flowing cleanly and safely.
NAH-16-221 is a power line filter module which is based on passive components. It achieves IEC 61000-4-5 level 3 class standards to limit conducted emissions in differential mode. The emission can be suppressed up to 30dBa (attenuation) on frequencies up to 16 MHz. The module is also designed for IEC 61000-4 level 4 / 5 level 3 standards for common mode emissions. The offer up to 28dBa (attenuation) on frequencies up to 16 MHz. The power line filter module has a high differential mode impedance and low common mode impedance. It features built-in transient protection, circuit breakers, integrated amplifier, over-voltage protection and a noise detector.
The module is mainly used to prevent radio frequency interference (RFI) on cables, grounds, and electronic circuits. It works by filtering out the noise and other signals that may disturb the power signal. The module features two single-ended, high-frequency, noise-cancelling filter coils that work together, blocking any noise from entering the electrical device. The PIHF coils are wrapped with plastic on the outside to ensure effective protection and durability. Finally, the module is sealed and then enclosed in a box.
The working principle of NAH-16-221 power line filter module is simple. It filters out electromagnetic interference from the power line by using multiple PIHF coils that wrap around the power source. The PIHF coils respond to and block high frequency electromagnetic interference, while allowing the desired signal to pass. This helps to clean the power signal and improve the quality of the signal. It also helps protect connected electrical devices from damage due to high frequency interference. This filtering action is improved by the encapsulation of the PIHF coils, which offers greater protection and durability of the module.
NAH-16-221 power line filter module is an effective solution for reducing EMI on any power line. It has the ability to block and filter out any RFI or EMF that may interfere with the quality of the signal. The module is easy to install and provides a reliable way to keep the power signals clean and free from interference. The module is also a cost-effective solution, offering great value for money.
