The NAH-16-471 is an electronic power line filter module for reducing powerline frequency conducted emissions in a variety of applications, ranging from consumer and industrial electronic products to telecommunications equipment. This filter module utilizes three-pole inductive filtering and is capable of providing up to 42dB of attenuation in the frequency band of 30 to 500Hz. It can be used in power supplies, telephone lines, audio and PC applications, and as an EMI filter in various consumer electronics.

The filter module features a compact size and low-profile design and is suitable for all kinds of devices where space is limited. As the same, this module offers temperature stability and high current carrying capability. It is designed to have high insertion loss and low leakage current. Moreover, this filter module has a durable thermal plastic coating with a low-ESR Common Mode Filtering Line.

The NAH-16-471 filter module works on the principle of attenuation to reduce EMI. It is composed of power inductors, capacitors, and resistors. The inductors and capacitors work together to create a low-pass filter, which has an impedance that grows with increasing frequency. As a result, the higher frequency signals are attenuated more than the lower frequency signals, reducing EMI. The resistors just form a DC blocking connection and do not affect the filter characteristics.

Due to its effective EMI filtering ability, the NAH-16-471 filter module is widely used in a variety of applications. In consumer electronics, it is used in Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, audio products, security systems, smart TVs, and much more. In industrial applications, it is used for military and aerospace systems, medical equipment, rapid prototyping, and robotics. It is also used in telecoms and networking equipment, automotive applications, and in power supplies.

This filter module is an effective way to reduce EMI in electronic devices with limited space requirements. It is reliable, cost-effective and easy to install. With its high-performance capability and design flexibility, the NAH-16-471 promises to be an excellent choice for any EMI related application.
