The NAM-10-000-DXE Power Line Filter Module is designed to be used in a wide range of applications. It is a compact, high performance filter module that provides excellent noise protection for industrial or commercial electronics. It is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of applications including medical, broadcast, industrial automation, automotive, marine, avionics, and communications systems.
The NAM-10-000-DXE is capable of reducing or limiting the noise generated by an electrical power source, allowing the signal to pass without interference. The filter module is also capable of reducing or eliminating electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), which can reduce the signal-to-noise ratio and disrupt analog circuitry. This filter module operates at frequencies from 60 Hz up to 1 GHz (Subject to specific section 10 specifications). The NAM-10-000-DXE features a low insertion loss, high common mode impedance, fitted terminating impedances and serial EMI protection.
The working principle of the NAM-10-000-DXE is simple. It has a core that is composed of a core material, such as magnetic cement, along with a series of ferrite beads that are designed to perform the magnetic shielding. The core acts as a barrier between the incoming signal and the device that is being protected by the filter.
