Power Line Filter Modules are designed to provide strong electrical isolation between two circuits or paths so that any interference or crosstalk from one circuit will not transfer to the other circuit. NAP-04-331-D is a Dual Common Mode Filter Module integrated in a four-port configuration comprising of two input ports and two output ports. It is designed to offer superior performance and noise isolation with a minimum insertion loss in the range of 0.2dB. The module is most suitable for filtering the operation current when operating in noisy environments and it can also serve as an effective noise suppression isolate during high voltage applications.
The NAP-04-331-D application field includes power circuit, industrial equipment, instrumentation, automotive, communication, instrumentation, home appliance, military and aerospace, etcetera. It is capable of reducing common mode noise carrying signals in potential difference mode due to its high linearity and excellent dynamic response while still maintaining the low insertion loss to minimize the EMF. It is designed with a low-pass filter network that is constructed from high frequency electrolytic capacitors and inductors. This filter network is configured to reduce the high frequency noise coming from external sources such as motors, electrical generators, electrical equipment and more.
The working principle of the NAP-04-331-D is to provide a simple method for filtering the entire power line in order to reduce the transfer of noise, crosstalk, and other interference from one circuit to the other. The filter module works by passing current from one side of a source circuit directly to the other side. Any noise or interference on the one side will be trapped and filtered out through the filter module before entering on the other side.
The module uses an EMI shield filter which helps to attenuate noise up to 30 dB in frequency range from 400 MHz to 1000MHz. It also features a dual common mode filter and a high gain common mode output wave filter that helps to reduce the amplitude of noise from external sources. The module also contains integrated digital switches that increase the gain and rejection of noise, so that the output remains clean and noise free. In addition, it includes a built-in signal conditioning circuitry to ensure a stable performance in a range of current and voltage. Finally, the module has an additional low frequency filter capable of providing up to 20 dB of attenuation.
In conclusion, the NAP-04-331-D is a powerful Dual Common Mode Filter Module in a four-port configuration that provides strong electrical isolation between two circuits and offers superior performance and noise isolation with minimal insertion loss in a range of 0.2dB. It is designed to reduce common mode noise carrying signals in potential difference mode while still maintaining low insertion loss to minimize the EMF. The filter module works by passing current from one side of a source circuit directly to the other side while using an EMI shield filter, dual common mode filter, high gain common mode output wave filter, and a low frequency filter to provide maximum attenuation of noise and interference, so that the output remains clean and noise free.
