Power Line Filter Modules are used to filter electrical noise caused by electrical components and reduce the interference of external electronics to improve the performance & reliability of the systems. NAP-20-681-D, in particular, is a high-frequency resonance power line filter module, with a rated frequency of 16kHz, designed to suppress harmonic noise. This module is designed for use in DC-DC Converters, AC-DC converters, and DC-AC inverters to achieve EMC compatibility.
The working principle of the NAP-20-681-D filter module is based on the fact that electromagnetic interference can be greatly attenuated at the resonance frequency. In order to achieve effective EMC protection, the filter module must be tuned to the resonance frequency. The filter has two kinds of structures -- an IC structure and an IF structure. The IC structure consists of four integrated circuits, two of which are high frequency resonance filter parts, while the other two are low frequency EMC filter parts. The IF structure consists of an inductor, two capacitors and two resistors.
In the IC structure, the two resonance filter parts are connected in parallel, and their independent tuning capacitors can adjust the resonance frequency of the power line filter to the operating frequency of the circuit. The two low frequency filter parts are connected in series, and their inductors and capacitors can attenuate the low frequency interference signals. The output of the IC structure is connected to the system ground for EMC protection. In the IF structure, the resistor is connected to the system ground to prevent high voltage damage and the two capacitors are connected in series and in parallel respectively. The inductor is tuned to the resonance frequency and can filter out high frequency interference signals.
In order to achieve the best filtering performance, the circuit parameters should be determined according to the system\'s operation frequency. The filter module should be integrated into the circuit board to reduce radiation and effectively reduce the interference from external circuits. When installing the filter module, the power source should be carefully selected and the filter module should be connected correctly in order to ensure the best EMC protection.
The NAP-20-681-D power line filter module is a high frequency resonance filter module designed for use in DC-DC Converters, AC-DC Converters, and DC-AC Inverters to achieve EMC compliance. Its working principle is based on the fact that electromagnetic interference can be greatly attenuated at the resonance frequency. With its two kind of structures – IC structure and IF structure, this NAP-20-681-D filter module can effectively filter out harmonic noise and reduce the interference from external circuits to improve the performance & reliability of the systems.
