Temperature Sensors - RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) are used to measure temperature accurately. The RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) is a type of temperature sensor. It is a wire wound resistor that has a constant resistance over a range of temperatures. The resistance of the RTD element is measured with a Wheatstone bridge circuit. The RTD element is put into a bridge configuration to make the measurement. The output from the bridge rectifier is fed into a voltage to temperature conversion circuit.

NB-PTCO-006 is a Resistance Temperature Detector designed for industrial applications. It is commonly used in industrial applications with temperatures ranging from -50°C to 120°C (-58°F to 248°F) and is suitable for both air and liquids. The sensor utilizes a Mineral Insulated (MI) Platinum Resistance Element. This allows for a highly accurate and robust temperature sensing solution. The output of the PTCO-006 is a standard Wheatstone bridge signal which is then corrected by an onboard analog circuit to produce a temperature proportional voltage.
