The NET+50-BIT product family offers a complete range of application specific embedded microcontroller devices designed by Icron Technologies for control and automation applications. The 50-bit architecture is designed to provide up to four million bytes of SRAM (Static Random Access Memory) plus external Flash memory, allowing designers to create more complex applications, increase data processing speeds and enable remote device and system management.
The NET+50-BIT architecture focuses on providing two primary components: the core processor and a variety of peripheral components. The core processor is a 32-bit RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) processor, providing fast and efficient execution of user-designed programs. The processor is optimized to support both real-time and control applications. Additionally, a variety of I/O interfaces such as Serial, Ethernet, CAN, USB and GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) ports are included to provide engineers with a variety of connectivity options.
In addition to the core processor, the NET+50-BIT devices include a variety of peripheral components that can be used for specific tasks. These include analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, pulse-width modulators, timers, safety watchdogs and SRAM for data and/or code storage. The design also supports a variety of external interfaces, including SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface), UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) and I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit).
