NHD-0208AZ-RN-GBW is a monochrome LCD module with LCD display size of 2 lines x 8 characters. It features a white LED backlight, parallel interface, 6 o’clock viewing angle, operating temperature range from -20℃ to +70℃ and low power consumption. These character LCD modules offers excellent visibility and reliability by adopting HD44780 or its equivalent LCD driver ICs.

Working Principle

NHD-0208AZ-RN-GBW LCD module works based on either cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) or light-emitting diode (LED) backlight technology. It includes an array of LED’s or CCFL lamps located behind the LCD for generating the light around the perimeter of the LCD and providing a uniform and optically-clear background for the display. For the convenience of the users, the LCD module is designed with a brightness control circuit.
