NL-SWDK

NL-SWDK is a networked RF evaluation and development kit, which enables design engineers to explore and develop communication products with RF links. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including wireless security, radio frequency identification (RFID), automotive telematics, short-range communications, medical applications, and communications over long distances. It provides both high-performance circuit design and development tools, as well as comprehensive software support to optimize products.

With NL-SWDK, designers are able to design, debug and test an RF circuit quickly to establish fully functional communications. It helps to reduce prototype time and allow designers to experience more freedom in experimenting. Furthermore, NL-SWDK is made compatible with NXP’s RF evaluation board to extend the range of available tools and equipment.

The NL-SWDK is based on software-defined radio technology, and includes the development of various solutions required for different RF applications. It contains software tools that can be customized by the customer to define the operating parameters of the network, frequency band, and bit-rate. The software includes components for defined transmission, modulation techniques, coding and modulation schemes, and protocols.

The NL-SWDK is designed to enable the use of multiple RF standards, such as GSM, UMTS, WiMax, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and other custom protocols. It provides a wide range of RF development tools, including design software, test hardware, development boards, and RF interface. Furthermore, the kit contains a graphical user interface (GUI) to facilitate the design, debug, and development of the RF circuit.

The working principle of the NL-SWDK consists of two main phases. The first is hardware development and integration. In this phase, the network and communications hardware are set up.
