Working Principle

The NMP1K2-#CCKE#-02 employs advanced AC to DC conversion methodologies, to ensure high efficiency, quality power delivery, and a wide operating temperature range. The unit can work in a wide range of frequency range, 50/60Hz and can accept any input voltage (single or three phase) without manual adjustment. The unit also features active current sharing along with wide temperature operating conditions.

The power conversion process starts with rectification of AC input power through full wave rectifier bridge with bridge rectifier circuit topology. This rectified output of AC power gets filtered using an LC filter, which helps in eliminating the ripples. This smoothed DC output is then passes through switching bridge circuit, switch and transformer. The switching bridge helps in controlling the output voltage and current. The transformer of the unit helps in converting the output to the required output, while the switch helps in controlling the power.

This unit also includes a built-in EMI filter that helps in eliminating the noise generated from the power conversion unit. It also includes an over current protection (OCP), over voltage protection (OVP) and short circuit protection (SCP) circuits for ensuring safety from power accidents.
