OV07956-A53A-2G is a low-voltage 1/4-inch digital image sensor product, currently mainly used in automotive image acquisition scenarios, such as car rearview camera monitor, ADAS intelligent driving, thus equipped with a variety of functions such as HDR and low-light detection.

It integrates 13 million pixels into a tiny 1/4-inch optical format frame. It uses OmniVision proprietary PureCel Plus S2-2 technology and supports dual-port RAW output. And it improves photosensitive performance, color fidelity and clarity to provide bright and colorful images even in low light conditions. So this image sensor can acquire clear image in low light environment.

OV07956-A53A-2G image sensor is composed of photosensitive part, amplifier part and control part. The photosensitive part comprises a large number of two-dimensional photosensitive cells, and each pixel is composed of a photosensitive cell, a transfer channel and a storage node. The photoelectric effect is generated when the light enters the photosensitive conversion part, so that the pixel signal can be generated after conversion.

The amplifier part is mainly composed of transistor switch amplifying circuit. When the signal of pixel is converted into the voltage signal, it will be amplified by the transistor switch amplifying circuit and then the electric pulse signal can be obtained. The control part is mainly composed of the signal processing chip, whose function is to read the electric pulse signal from the photosensitive unit, and then correct the defective pixel and compensate the frame rate to make the image information not affected by external environment.
