The collar acts as an insulator between the body of the connector and the contact pins. It has two types of cable accepted, namely Amphenol-M8 and Amphenol-M16.The contact pins of the P-302H-CCT are of two types. The first is the Microblade. This is the most common type of contact pin and is used to connect the Female Metal Contact within the connector body to the circuit board. The other type is the Micro Contact PIN, which is used to connect the Male Metal Contact within the connector body to the wire harness. The P-302H-CCT has a working principle of low contact resistance and high reliability. This is achieved by forming the contact points on the male and female contacts with tightly compressed precision molding plunger and eluting a series of gold wafer, which forms a permanent gold layer on the contact region. This ensures close contact between the male and female contacts so that the current can be transmitted stably.
