P08-050-SLT-A-G is a type of Rectangular Connector which is mainly used in arrays, edge type, and mezzanine applications. It is a connector series primarily designed for board to board connection with a high number of contacts and a mating area whose dimensions are easy to adapt into design needs. This connector type can handle current of up to 4A and its operating temperature range is from -25°C ~ 85°C.

P08-050-SLT-A-G is composed of two mating parts, an insulating support, two sets of contacts, and a series of optional accessories. One of these parts, the lower, is connected to a printed circuit board, while the upper part has a removable clamp for the upper set of contacts. This clamp allows for an easy but secure mating of the contacts which are made from phosphor bronze and plated with gold or tin.
