Application Field
The P1602ABLRP thyristor is mainly used in electric vehicle driving systems. Specifically, it is mainly used to control the continuance voltage, energy saving, output overcurrent protection and can improve the response speed and power factor of the drive system. This product is suitable for T48 (3P200KW) and T80 (3P400KW) AC motor drive applications.
Working Principle
The P1602ABLRP thyristor uses a single-coil ac switch mode to control the current output. The three-phase bridge rectifier circuit that is connected to the thyristor power supplied by the converter AC voltage, and the signal control of the thyristor uses a pulse width modulation (PWM) mode. When the drive system needs to transfer to the three-phase motor, the controller sends a fixed PWM signal of a certain frequency to the thyristor. When the voltage of the corresponding gate terminal of the thyristor exceeds the dynamic breakdown voltage, the thyristor is conducting an AC current; when the voltage is reduced, the thyristor will be in an open state, and realizes the on-off of the AC electric current. Due to its high working voltage, high working current, low on-state voltage drop, and fast response, P1602ABLRP thyristor is widely used in the electric vehicle driving system.
