Working Principle

This rectangular connector consists of two separate components, the header and the male pin. The P50-030P1-RR1-EA header consists of two rows of male pins evenly spaced between walls equip with retaining clip pins. The male pins comprises of four elements which are the shell, the contact, the insulation body, and the insulating sleeve. The contact is made of nickel plated phosphor bronze and Tin plated steel, and shields make of brass or aluminum for the top shell and bottom shell. It can provide excellent contact reliability and 15N rated derailment force.

When the male pin was inserted into the header, the contact-making was achieved by the pressure metal spring contact.
