P9020-EVK

The P9020-EVK is a comprehensive, all-in-one Evaluation and Demonstration Board and Kit. It can be used as a general-purpose development platform for applications which require high integration, energy efficiency and a robust design. This kit is suitable for evaluation and demonstration of various products with a range of functions, including CoreBoot firmware, Power Management, Interrupt Control, and UART.

The P9020-EVK board contains an Cortex-A9 dual-core ARM processor with an integrated high speed platform controller hub (PCH). This board also includes two serial ports, four USB ports, one HDMI port, one Ethernet port, internal memory and an eight-pin header.

The board is powered by a 3.3V power supply and is designed to work under a 28-pin 28 MHz XTAL oscillator. The main feature of P9020-EVK board is the flexibly configurable core CPU voltage support, which can be set to any voltage within a range of 0.7V to 1.3V.

The working principle of the P9020-EVK board is based on a core CPU voltage setting. This is achieved by using an Adaptive Voltage Scaling (AVS) mechanism, which detects the application power requirements and the environmental temperature and then selects the closest matching CPU voltage setting automatically according to user-defined requirements.

The board can be used in various applications, including industrial, medical, consumer, automotive and military instruments. It is also suitable for prototyping, development and evaluation of recently-developed low-power, highly integrated and energy-efficient microcontroller systems.
