Single Board Computers (SBCs) are small PCBs designed to perform computing functions such as processing, telecommunications, embedded control and other digital and analog functions. The PCM-3365E-S3A1E is a versatile SBC suitable for a wide range of applications. This Single Board Computer offers features such as multi-core processors, multiple I/O ports, FPGA functionality and high-speed memory access.

The PCM-3365E-S3A1E features the Zynq-7000 All Programmable System-on-Chip (SoC) from Xilinx, a lead supplier of programmable hardware solutions. The SoC integrates an ARM® dual-core Cortex™-A9 MPCore™ central processing unit (CPU) with the Xilinx 7-series FPGA fabric, providing an advanced embedded system-on-chip technology for intensive computational performance.

The I/O connections on the PCM-3365E-S3A1E include USB 2.0, SATA 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and two RS-232 serial ports. Additionally, a MicroSD slot is available for user-supplied removable storage. The SBC also includes integrated memory, including DDR3L SDRAM, NAND Flash, and NOR Flash. Power for the PCM-3365E-S3A1E is provided externally through the included 12VDC adapter.

The PCM-3365E-S3A1E offers a low-power and high-performance application development platform for industrial control, robotics, vision, and embedded systems. Its flexible hardware/software integration makes the Dual-Core ARM® Cortex™-A9 SoC suitable for a variety of applications requiring high computing performance. The PCM-3365E-S3A1E uses an ARM® Cortex™-A9 processor running at 700MHz to 800MHz. The processor features 256KB of 6-way set associative L2 cache to minimize latency and ensure that applications run efficiently. Additionally, the PCM-3365E-S3A1E supports dual 64-bit DDR3L SDRAM, up to 8GB in total. The DDR3L memory interface is connected to an FPGA that provides external memory access control and error correction code (ECC).

The PCM-3365E-S3A1E includes an integrated GigaSwift DisplayPort 1.1a interface for connecting to external displays. The embedded display controller supports resolutions up to 2048x2048 with 24 bits per pixel. The PCM-3365E-S3A1E also features an HDMI 1.4 interface for connecting to an external display. This Single Board Computer also supports a dual-channel Parallel Camera Interface (PCIe) for connecting two camera sensors with up to 8-lane support, allowing for resolutions up to 4K.

The PCM-3365E-S3A1E can be used for a variety of applications including machine vision, industrial automation, robotics, embedded systems, and medical imaging. The flexibility of the SBC and its optimized features enable it to be used for a wide range of embedded computing applications.
