The PI3VST01UE is an integrated high-speed analog switch designed to enable ultra-low-power switching between multiple links operated up to 5.5V. As part of the special purpose interface analog switches, the device is made with a logic-low on, logic-high off configuration designed to enable functionally sound connections to a wide variety of sources. With this function, it is perfectly suited for memory interface applications and general purpose switching.The PI3VST01UE has a very robust design with its ability to withstand up to 150mA of current. It is designed to be used in logic-level systems, and can handle both digital and analog signals. The device has two output channels, one for its 5V or 3.3V logic level control input and one for its 5V or 3.3V analog voltage output. Its high rate of speed and accuracy makes it a great fit for applications such as mobile products, motor control, automotive systems, and more.The PI3VST01UE works on a switch-matrix basis to allow for low-frequency operation. This matrix is made up of a number of switches which can be used to create complex switching or logic functions. The PI3VST01UE design has the ability to switch in short intervals ranging from 5-50 nanoseconds.The PI3VST01UE allows for two-way communication between both source and target devices. The source device is the device which supplies data, while the target device is the device which receives data. The PI3VST01UE has three main components: the input/output path, the control path, and the switching mechanism.The PI3VST01UE has three digital inputs, which control the switching of the five output ports. Two of these inputs control the direction of communication, while the third input is used for toggling or pulse width frequencies. The device also has two analog output ports which can be used to provide a simple form of two-way communication.PI3VST01UE\'s switching mechanism consists of two switching arrays: an electrostatic charge motion array (ECMA) and a resistor-capacitor (RC) array. The ECMA features an array of electrostatically charged beams that control the forward and reverse movement of part knowledge, while the RC array features resistors and capacitors within the switch that allow for rapid shock and vibration in the switch plane.The PI3VST01UE is an excellent choice for designs looking to switch signals quickly, with logic-level voltage, low-power consumption and small package sizes.
