This power supply unit adopts a two-stage topology with dedicated rectifying, filtering, switching, and post-regulation stages to guarantee a high efficiency of up to 90%, a wide input AC voltage range of 90-260 VAC, and a low-ripple output voltage. It also features flexible output current levels from 0.3A to 20A and a wide range of output voltage from 15V to 305V. With such flexible output settings, this unit can widely meet the requirement of all kinds of applications.

The unit works on the principle of regulating AC input power source and converting it into DC power supply output. The input current is filtered and rectified by the rectifying circuit, then it is delivered to the primary side of the power transformer usually to step up the voltage. On the secondary side of the transformer there are diodes and capacitors, to cut of the negative half-cycle of the AC voltage, the diodes rectify the AC input and convert it to pulsating DC. A post- regulation stage would then condition the output for a smooth DC voltage source.

Safety is one of the paramount requirements and that is why this power supply unit is equipped with over- temperature, over- voltage, over- current, and short-circuit protection. It also automatically detects and resumes from protection condition if any fault occurs. Noise is also eliminated by a built-in EMI filter.

The case is made of durable and fire retardant plastic to protect the internal components making the unit suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. It is also extremely light weighing in at approximately 2.5 Kg and its compact size allows it to be used in tight installation space. Both wall mounting and desktop style connection is available.
