After that, when the power switch turns on, the driving current of the power switch enters the inductor, producing a current through the inductor coil to the diode terminal, and the current then passes through the drain terminal of the power MOSFET to the load, thus achieving the output voltage. Finally, when the power switch turns off, the diode holds the current that comes out of the inductor’s two ends, so as to maintain the circuit’s current flow.
