Working Principle

The PX0458 connector is designed to transmit both digital and analog video signals. It has nineteen pins - eighteen data pins and one TMDS clock pin. The eighteen data pins are used to transmit the video signal – eight pins for red, green and blue channel and one pin for synchronization. The clock pin’s purpose is to reduce skew between data signals, which helps to reduce signal distortion. The connector supports resolutions up to 1080p (1920 pixel by 1080 pixel). The data rate can be up to 10.2 Gbps.
