The PZC04SBDN is a rectangular, male pin connector typically used in a wide range of electronic and electrical applications. The header has four rows of 2 millimeter square posts that align in the same direction and is able to mate with multiple components, including; cable-to- board connectors, cable-to-cable connectors, and board-to-board connectors.

Working Principle

The PZC04SBDN male pins provide an electrical connection between two components or subsystems. The pins are designed to fit into the female pins of a mating connector in a secure manner. When the PZC04SBDN is inserted into a mating connector, the four pins on the header align with the holes in the female connector. As the header slides into the mating connector, each male pin is contact with the holes in the female connector and an electrical connection is formed.

At the same time, the latching tab on the left side of the header engages with the mating connector and holds the headers together. This ensures that the connection is secure and limits the possibility of accidental disconnection. Furthermore, the gold plated contacts provide excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, increasing the life of the connector.
