QMS-052-01-S-D-EM2-PC4 are rectangular connectors in the Arrays, Edge Type, Mezzanine (Board to Board) group, which offer a simple and reliable connection between two printed circuit boards. These connectors are most commonly used in applications which require a high number of contacts over a small or limited area.QMS-052-01-S-D-EM2-PC4 have two connectors with a stacking male pin / femal receptacle combination. The female part is soldered onto the circuit board and the male part is mounted on the mating board. They are available with two, four and eight pins per contact, separated by a gap of 0.3mm, which gives them the appearance of two or four staggered rows of contacts when you view them from the side.The QMS-052-01-S-D-EM2-PC4 also comes with a double contact point design for both mating and unmating of the two boards, giving a secure connection with minimal movement, with the added bonus that it can save time and money on production.This design also allows the connector to have a floating height of 0.3mm between the two boards, which can be adjusted to compensate for any irregularities on the two boards. The height is adjustable by using a hex nut which is secured on the male part of the connector. The nuts can be tightened or loosened to slightly adjust the height of the male connector.The contacts are gold-plated and have a high current rating of 5A, which makes them suitable for a wide range of applications.
