Rectangular Connectors - Arrays, Edge Type, Mezzanine (Board to Board)

The QMS-052-02-S-D-RA-MG rectagular connectors are engineered for edge-type mezzanine board to board connections. These are designed with 0.025" (2.54mm, 0.64mm) centerline spacing (double row) for high density signal and board interconnection. These connectors feature a dense array of high-density gold-plated contacts which are contained in a robust, two-piece design to offer excellent protection and toughness. Application Field

Working Principle

The QMS-052-02-S-D-RA-MG connectors feature a double row design with 0.025" (2.54mm, 0.64mm) centerline spacing. The connectors feature a precision die-cast metal shell which provides high-current carrying and environmental protection. The shell is available in top or side entry configuration. The rear of the connectors is fitted with a terminal shield, which is corrosion resistant and provides additional environmental protection. The connectors have high-density gold plated contacts to enable easy mating and a high contact density. The contact lances are protected against shock and vibration to ensure a reliable and robust connection. The connector also features countersunk holes on each side to ensure secure and precise alignment. The connector features a keyed, positive-locking interface which prevents accidental misalignment during mating.
